Liberty Blue 2.0

The Liberty Blue 2.0 is Eindhoven's microwave-assisted peptide synthesizer that can rapidly synthesize peptides. The Liberty Blue 2.0 uses microwave irradiation to speed up the coupling reactions, but only performs a single synthesis at a time, whereas the Radboud University's Syro II system cannot speed up coupling reactions, but can perform up to 192 syntheses in parallel.

The Liberty Blue system is equipped with a 4-channel liquid handling system and a microwave reactor. The system is controlled by a computer with the CEM software.
